Website Lobster Institute

The Lobster Institute is an organization founded by a joint venture between the international lobster industry and the University of Maine to sustain the lobster as a resource through conservation, outreach, research, and education.

Their old site was a classic site styled from 1995 - red and green text on a baby blue background with bright yellow block lettering; definately in need of an update. I was put onto the project a couple weeks before the project deadline as the original programmer had left the company and the code was far from complete.

I was able to repurpose a templating CMS system I had been working on over to this project and rewrite all of the code before the deadline. The system also allowed them to add and remove pages and full sections to the site over time.
