VETS GWAC Portal Penobscot Bay Media

When PenBay won the VETS GWAC contract they needed a portal to communicate with other team members and to coordinate on opportunities. They also needed a public portal for contractors and other people to view. One month before the big kickoff party with all of the team members, I got to work on the portal to be ready for use immediately following the kickoff meetings.

The portal was a return to PHP for me and the page engine that I had been working on in the past. The site included the ability to add/edit/delete not only pages for the site, but also company information on team members allowing users with permission to update their own company information, a completely custom built forum (that was fun in a good way!), manage resources for team members, communicate with other users, and broadcast messaging abilities.
