Started on new design

For the last, oh, five years I've been trying to get a site design down that I am happy with. Some have even made it as far as a photoshop mockup. The latest design is pulling from things around me in my everyday life.

The base of the design is the sketchbook that I use when working on a new project or starting on a new design. Other things will be objects that you can regularly find on my desk. The biggest issue that I am having so far is branding - I've filled up a page or two with different logo designs and patterns that could possibly represent the name of the site.

Speaking of which, the name of the site, ParticlesInMotion: originally it was the name of a paper that I had to write for a college class on computer simulation methods about, what I think was, Brownian motion of a gas within a two dimensional closed system. Go figure. :) It's got a good sound to it though and rolls off the tongue much better than some of the other names I came up with. It's really difficult to create a good domain name with most of them taken by squatters.
