Wedding Rings

Today Lorien and I went to the jewelery store and picked out our wedding rings. I got the stock number of the one I wanted but didn't buy it as they have a 3 month resize limit on that type of metal and the wedding is 5 months out.

I originally was going to get a tungsten carbide ring with a silver inlay that I saw online, but after trying about 6 or 7 different ones on, I decided to go with titanium - strong as heck so it's not going to bend like gold, but LIGHT. Holy crap, I knew titanium was a light metal, but I guess I never really grasped just how light. The tungsten band was the same size and all, but must have weighed around ten times as much, with no exaggeration.

Lorien picked out a band with a row of diamonds inlayed in white gold. ...matches up quite nice with her engagement ring.
